| This is one of the main areas of Drywood termite entry. The termites gain entrance through small cracks where the two separate pieces of molding come together (usually a corner). It is very important to make sure that all exterior doors and windows are caulked or sealed so as to prevent termites from gaining an easy entrance. |

A good exterior coat of primer and paint is recommended as often as needed. And don't forget to have your home inspected at least once a year (particularly if you live in warmer climates) by a professionally licensed termite inspector. |
